CURRENT PROJECTS

CLEARING THE PROPERTY
We've been busy clearing the property: cutting dead trees, cutting up logs with the chain saw, collecting and burning fallen branches. We have LOTS of rwood ready to burn.

SPLITTING WOOD
Next we'll need to rent a splitter and select a location to build a covered wood shed.

FIXING THE PATH
We stared fixing the steps to the hot tub. Some of the wood railroad ties are rotted and need to be replaced.
CLEARING BLACKBERRIES
FIXING FENCES
UPCOMING PROJECTS

OUTDOOR BATHROOM
High on the list is creating an outdoor bathroom close to the hot tub and camping areas. The bathroom would be in the crawlspace of the house - eventually we'll add another bedroom with private deck too.

MULTI PURPOSE DECK
A 32'x32' low to the ground multi-purpose deck in the center of the flat grass area. Yoga deck, dance floor, outdoor dining room. The deck will be built with class A fire rated decking boards and a metal frame. Tall 8' x8' post will serve as anchors for shade sails.

TRAILER REMODEL
Crystal and JT are bringing is this cute little vintage trailer. Once fixed up it will live by the pond and be used as guest quarters.

NEW ROOF
As soon as possible we are replacing the roof of the main house with a new standing seam metal roof over rigid insulation, solar panels and battery backup. We should be able to mostly cover our energy needs and bring our PG&E bills close to zero.
